MSAR is an independent Non-Government Organization (NGO) that has main offices in Winnipeg and is the only agency directed by aboriginal elders, advisors and First Nation leadership. We partner with like-minded agencies to deliver and operate program and services.
Wounded Warriors Canada (WWC) has made significant investments, as a leading funder of PTSD Service Dogs. The preliminary results of the Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) funded efficacy study has reinforced and provided early clinical evidence which we know to be imperially true: Properly trained PTSD Service Dogs can and do change and save lives. Wounded Warriors does not provide funding for service dogs, but has established a trusted directory of Wounded Warriors Certified Service Dog Providers.
