Pensioners’ Dental Services Plan (PDSP)

The Pensioners’ Dental Services Plan (PDSP) is a voluntary, contributory dental services plan established by the Government of Canada to provide eligible public service pensioners, and their eligible family members, with coverage for specific dental services and supplies that are not covered under a provincial or territorial health or dental care plan.

The PDSP covers only reasonable and customary dental treatment necessary to prevent or correct a dental disease or defect, if the treatment is consistent with generally accepted dental practices. All entitlements are based on the PDSP Rules.

Couples Overcoming PTSD Everyday (COPE)​

COPE programs are delivered nationally and in English and French and are open to all Canadian veterans and first responders and their spouse/partner. This group includes currently serving and retired/released veterans of the CAF as well as RCMP, Police, Fire, EMS and Corrections services. Also included are Nursing staff who work in emergency services.

This is a Canada-wide group formed in January 2008 and has chapters located across Canada.


The Dominion Civil Service War Veterans Association was formed in 1947 as a non-profit association of World War II Veterans who were employees of the Dominion (of Canada ) Civil Service. 

Atlantic Heroes Peer Group

The Society of Atlantic Heroes (SOAH) is a regional non-profit organization that provides veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, RCMP and community first responders with a safe haven to deal with serious personal challenges that lead to Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD) as a result of Occupational Stress Injuries.   The SOAH will establish a Transition Support Centre of Excellence (Atlantic House)  that will host a framework of support services to deliver holistic care to veterans and families.

Canadian Association Of Veterans In United Nations Peacekeeping

An Association of retired and serving Canadian military (Regular and Reserve), RCMP and civilian personnel who have served on United Nations Peacekeeping Missions. The Association also welcomes those who have served on other peacekeeping missions in which participation was sanctioned by the Government of Canada.

Guitars For Vets

Korea Veterans Association Of Canada Inc.

The Korea Veterans Association of Canada embodies the spirit of comradeship that was developed during the Korean War and the years that followed. 

Military Minds

Military Minds Inc is an active, connected membership that does not create programs or services but instead helps connect its members to those very programs and services that fulfill their needs.

Old Boots Peer Group 

Old Boots veterans group welcomes all elements of the military and RCMP, any age, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation and identity, and level of physical ability. Old Boots employs a structured but flexible weekly meeting format which includes members individually commenting on joys and frustrations of their previous week, guided group discussions during handcraft projects (quilting, soapstone carving, and leatherwork, as examples). The handcrafting discussions typically focus on stressors/triggers and coping mechanisms, reintegration into civilian life, and world events.


Project Trauma Support

The Project Trauma Support Peer Groups are weekly or biweekly gatherings open to any military members, veterans or first responders (police, firefighters, paramedics, dispatchers, corrections officers) with the desire to heal from the effects of trauma.

The Transfer Guide includes information on established routes or pathways that enable students to transfer credits among Ontario’s colleges and universities.
